HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS

 

Hospice volunteers are an integral part of the our interdisciplinary team, providing a much needed break to family caregivers, as well as friendly visits to our patients who reside in facilities.

Volunteers may provide:

• Relief for family caregivers
• Emotional support to patients and their family
• Friendly visits
• Spiritual presence
• Shopping/errands
• Transportation
• Other practical support
